The GGF held its Gulf regional conference at Limitless’s Dubai office recently. Thirty-five consultants, architects, designers, and other key figures from across the region, gathered together at Limitless’s purpose-built, in-house auditorium for the event.

Limitless is a global integrated real estate master developer specialising in large scale, balanced mixed-use communities, and waterfront developments. The firm also drives innovation in urban design, architecture and engineering.

Abdulla Al Janahi, executive director, Limitless Corporate Operations, said: “We are delighted to welcome the GGF to our premises – a new, value-for-money venue for conferences and events in the UAE.

“Catering in particular for small to medium-sized gatherings, our facilities offer state-of-the-art equipment and onsite catering and car parking – everything a hotel can offer but on a smaller, affordable scale.”

It is the first time an external organisation has used the soundproofed theatre, which has 43 seats and in-built state of the art audio visual facilities including projectors and surround sound.

“We hold quarterly regional conferences in the Gulf, where we discuss many aspects that affect the glass and glazing industries, including technical issues, changes to regulations and standards, and the benefits of being a GGF Member,” GGF Chief Executive, Nigel Rees, said. “Our influence stretches far beyond the UK’s borders, and the Gulf region is a perfect example of this.

“Furthermore, we were made to feel extremely welcome by Limitless, who very kindly let us use their modern facilities for the occasion.”

Stephen Rice, the GGF’s Director of Glazing & International Affairs, said: “The Gulf region is a hotbed of activity and technical innovation, and our regional conferences always prove to be exciting and informative. This is exemplified by being hosted in Limitless’s conferencing suite.”
