When Glassex was moved to a date later in the year many in the industry felt that it was an important loss to the industry not just as a show but as a networking event. With this in mind Matthew Glover (Conservatory Outlet), Andrew Glover (West Yorkshire Windows) and Jon Twigge (RoofWright) came up with the idea of the glazing industry’s first networking event. The result is and was GlassTalk.
Other construction sectors have successfully harnessed networking events and GlassTalk has the potential to add to this premise. When you consider that leading industry figures such as Ian Chisholm, Andy Jones and Graeme Bailey attended the event, then you can see that the industry has a new March diary event.
