thanks for that terry re wers,, you are are right we have all become cheap and cheerfull as a nation in most cases and i think all of us in the industry are aware of that,, hence why we or i have to make a stand and try and rectify a long standing problem, one of my other replies says i"ts supply and demand" i dont agree with demand from a customer point of view as we are in a shrunken market, the real demand calls for cheaper and cheaper products... the demand in lancashire is for golden oak and we are seeing many stone houses being sandblasted and boy does it look impressive,, but sadly yet again our self fulfilling prophecy as come to the fore again with coloured profiles. Can anyone recommend any solicitors / lawyers firm that is familiar with our industry. Looking for a firm that can look at the odd contract here and there that the minority of customers seem to want to ignore when it suits only them. (154 days ago)

Is astounded by how busy he is, 2 new Adminbase customers in one morning !! It cant be that you window companies are rushing to beat the VAT increase because you can claim it back. What is going on ? (7 days ago)

Don't you wish you could contact everyone who visits your website and ask them why they never left an enquiry or called you. (7 days ago)

Well, I have this customer to whom we sold a full conservatory build package on interest free credit with £1200 deposit paid. We've completed all the base work (around £6000 worth) and it has now emerged that their finance facility was declined, it just slipped through the net unfortunately. We received a solicitors letter demanding that we simply accept the deposit in full and final settlement as apparently, the customer has no money. We offered to honour the credit terms ourselves but the customer is having none of it. She has obviously seen an opportunity to obtain a nice little freebie here and I expect driving past her house one day only to see a nice shiny new conservatory sitting on our free base, purchased from someone else. It's not the money that bothers me, it's the fact that she thinks she has outsmarted us which is annoying, Should we repossess our base? (2 days ago)
